Today there is a growing use of android mobile devices – vending machines, kiosks, advertising to name a few apart from the classic mobile use. Point-of-sale devices in particular have had a significant increase in recent years. These devices streamline the sale at the end customer, but managing devices located on multiple sites can be a challenge. Providing remote support to a number devices from a central IT team is a solution that allows not only instant real-time support, but saves money and time to both the end-user and to the team managing these.

Another reason why remote management of POS android devices has to be considered is the end user: it can not be expected that the user holding the actual device will be technologically savvy enough to be able to navigate on the device on their own, however making an IT technician go to the location all the time is not feasible.
